Before You Hire

Facilities usually schedule parking lot contractors yearly for crack sealing and striping checks. Ask:

• Do you take commercial work, and do you service buildings like ours?
• Can you send a certificate of insurance naming us as additional insured?
• Will the layout keep the required accessible spaces and signs under the ADA?
• What sealer and how many coats, and at what application rate?
• How long must the lot stay closed, and how will you phase the work?

Hiring Tips

• Sealcoating over untreated cracks wastes money; repair first.
• Schedule in sections so the business can stay open.
